So the rear seats are back in :) Nice and quiet inside now (sort of) The Recaros will be coming out soon after iv spoken to a couple of people ;)

Also yesterday went to look at a Focus RS and very nearly left with it ! Was offered a reasonable price for the Clio but would have meant getting the rest on finance or a loan. But it needed a bit doing to it and so on, so though better of it. Need to look for a few bits and pieces to get to get the Clio back to pretty much standard guise.

Definitely :) Will be holding out for a good RS so the Clio might be staying for some time yet. Just going to be putting it back to as standard as possible.

shame as youve got a lovely example of a 182 (polished and sealed pics on previous page to prove) but ive got a mega soft spot for the mk1 frs and if its like your clio it will be a goodie :)

Hell no, not a track ****. High-ish spec +300bhp. Thankfully a mate has a GT28 turbo 'spare' then with a few other thing's it should be all good.

Untill the lag and the diff put me in to a hedge lol

No doubt you'll make a good few quid in parts, and then whatever you make for the car should bring you near to the Focus. I know how long you've had this itch for an RS and wish you well for the wait to get a decent one. Saw one in Winchester today and thought you would have been chasing him up the street to sell it to you lol.

Got some other bits and pieces for the car to get her back to standard. The numberplate's were looking worse for wear and also the carbon interior is now gone.

Probbably not a FRS now will. Am going to wait for this to sell then either have the old mans car off him or get something cheep.

Would like to save a bit now and try going it alone with work as well, so would need a van.

So the Clio is gone ! Part exchanged it for a Fiesta ST.

I know a lot will slate me for getting the ST and I know many see them as a chavs car and tbh mine is pretty chavy, but I'm happy.

Its silver with black alloys, which I don't mind too much but the honking black stripes down the centre of the car are going as soon as the weather picks up. There's a couple of other little niggles but nothing I cant sort. Sadly cant drive it until the new registered keepers form is sorted and then will be able to tax it so have the works van to cart me about for the week. Hopefully this will give me time to sort the bits out.

Went the back way home after picking it up which coincidentally is one of my favourite roads to get a taste for what its like. Its obviously not as fast as the Clio but feels it has a bit more torque behind it and coming out of a bend in 3rd is lovely and smooth. The standard equipment on the ST is so much better than the Clio, but that's probably because I'm used to a cup. The gearbox is the biggest surprise if I'm honest its so direct and smooth, feels like a Megane with the short throw kit. And all in all the car feels more solid than the Clio. Anyway some pictures.

Hmm loved your RB mate, not sure about the ST though in all honesty.

Abit of a downgrade in terms of "fun" I would have though.

As you say though you wanted one so fair play mate!

Im sure you'll make it a nice one ;)

I really want to hate this, and lay into you for having a blue oval. Even though we have 3, ooops.
Ive driven one briefly and can totally see where your coming from with the gearbox, probably the best ive ever used mate. Even our diesel fiesta van has the same feel lol

Take her to JamSport and let the mods begin. These sound soooo rapsy and pops like fook with a good exhaust. 10x more than mine mate.
