new 172 owner from Ross On Wye

Bonjour!,

I used to sell new and used Renaults for a few years up until around 12 months ago

Ive just come over from the dub scene! Had a camper and sold it for my beetle, which I sold and bought a Polo G40, which I sold and bought a mk1 Sportline! Guess what, I sold that too and bought a 172 last weekend!

Well had the 172 a week now and Ive painted the bullets and the front and rear diamonds grey, I did do the mirror caps too but wasn't 100% struck on them so went back to Monaco!

Oh and before anyone jumps on it....Silverlines are in already! - see last pic!

thank you! VW scene is VAG ONLY which p*sses me off tbh, already on here you Clio fans are praising my old 'non Renaults', love it!

I did a search to try and find local meets but didn't find much! thanks fella, will look out for that as its not a million miles away!

Well I was planning on "no bling"! i.e. paint all badges etc dark and then the wheels to match, but now ive done the badges and bullets I'm not so sure! I might go back to standard (appearance wise!)

Then just a performance panel filter as Ive read quite a few times that induction kits are just noisy-no real power gains and are expensive, then RS tuner may be on the cards along with a de-cat. Then, in a while, I may cam it etc but that wont be for ages

cheers mate, asked the girlfriend if I could rob her's off her mk3 clio and she said "yeah, mine wont look much different without it so carry on!" Within seconds I had it off her car and started fitting it to mine!
