New 182cup

  182 Trophy

Been looking into getting a 182cup from the Renault dealers in Notts (Sunwin) but they just do not seem prepared to do a deal.

Just wondering if anyone had brought one and what sort of deal they got from the dealers around Notts

Thanks

I bought the used clio from a dealer, i mentioed the prices of the clio on the internet and they could not get anywhere near.

The internet prices are well cheap, and its money better off in your pocket. Some of the retailers online take your car in as p/x. Some deliver to renault dealers too, so you could in theory collect it from your local one. They are uk cars, and come how you want, tho i think they are 12 weeks waiting list as everyone else.

Consider that you may pay full price for one from the dealer, but from the internet its the savings from driving the car off the forecourt, so in theory you could sell your car for not much less that you paid for it to someone without the knowledge.

You get the same deals are you would from the dealership, and full warranty. I believe a deposit has to be paid on order, and balance on the car turning up.

Give the internet sites a go, i found 4 or 5 sites, 2 that would take p/xs and use that against the dealer on a deal.

Ye I got a quote from Broadspeed.com for 10914 on the road pre reg, but its just I think it would be easier to buy from a dealer if I have any problems.

it doesnt matter where you buy the car from the dealer still has to cover the warranty

the only thing to consider against a pre reg is the resale value. can be less if its a non uk sppec car or has an extra owner

your dealer will warranty the car no problem, you might not get the alarm though as there fitted at the dealers, just watch the specs.

Gutted! I paid £8,500 for second hand 172 Cup an 03 plate but would have traded my scobby in to get a 182 cup.

Mine was from a dealer in Huntingdon down the A14 not too bad.

you should be able to still take your car to Renault dealership for servicing and warrany claims.

Ive looked into it quite alot and read alot of post on this site which have been very helpful and also come to the conclusion renault dealers just dont know what there on about. I was advised by one not to buy a cup as they are dangerous because they dont have abs or traction, couldnt beleive they dont know what products their selling.

My friend also brought a cup from the dealer for a good price and they are not willing to match it, basically didnt want to know.

The dealers in Bristol dont seem to educated on the 182/cup. The badges are not on the door pillar of the Cup in the showroom, im sure they have them dont they?
