New Bits + Wash + Wax...

Added a few new bits to the 182 since my last thread.

I bought a mint condition RS wheel off here, virtually brand new... for £70. Hurrah.

Also fitted an Alpine iPod link HU and hand control link cable. What a c*nt that was. There's literally no room back there for wiring. Anyway, a few grazed hands and swearing later, it was in. Much better.

Then yesterday I gave it it's first wash in two months. It was shockingly bad, I had to use the wheel cleaner undiluted.

Ordered some new mats too. Finally. So they'll be in soon.

Oh, and I shaved my seat because it had a few bobbles on it.

Looks great as ever! I know a guy with that HU and its very good, so nice choice . And yep there really is no room back there. Had to fit a DVD unit at work to a chav's clio and there was a lot of blood left behind his dash!

Yeah, the antenna feeds one side on the dash, and goes into the opposite side of the HU. Nice.

Had to re-route everything because I'm a neat freak.

You can see the iPod link just dropping down to the cup holder thing. So at least that's got a use now.

With some dark card, a pair of scissors, some Pritt Stick, and lots of time, you could make them project xenon Apple logos. That would be awesome.

Car looks epic BTW, but lose the earring IIRC.

What did you use to shave the seats? i tried a bic disposable on mine but it didnt touch it as i think the blades are too close together. Both my seats are really bad.

New wheel freshens the interior up a treat! I notice that annoying slightly on the piss glovebox, as per most MK2 Clios including my own

You've had it easy with the wiring. I've got the alpine harness, parrot Bluetooth harness, steering control leads and sub wiring. Took f**king ages lol.
