new calipers on my 172 cup bud having trouble bleeding them

hey guys

had abit of trouble over the weekend with my rear brake calipers as they were seized, from my MOT report.
so i set to with jacking the car up and started stripping everything down (any way)
set to with bleeding, and both bleed nipples were rounded off, after drilling and tapping i lost my rag and bought two new calipers for the car.

fitted them tonight and set to with the bleeding process.....again

after pumping the brakes abit to move the pads over to the disks to start after an hour or so of bleeding the just dont seem to be getting any better,
read a few places of engines needing to be on and the car on the ground and not on stands, just abit of adive or help would be appriciated please

passenger side, head under car, look for the load valve arm, grab that and make sureits not seized

will give this a try first thing in the morning, as the failed certificate said little or no breaking effort i read up that the clio cup's have a vosa back up against them about the breaking being about 25-30% should i bring this up with the if he tries to fail it again, i do have a little more work to carrie out befor my retest, ball joints and a new lamda...etc (rolling eyes)

Mine failed for the same thing

As Fred said find the compensator - it's an awful design the arm is just loose on it. I sprayed mine with WD40 - and moved the arm up and down for 5 minutes to make sure it was all nice and free'd up. Then I put a thick cable tie through the arm up to the chassis holding it UP as much as possible.
Flew through the MOT and has done every year since

The failure if they don't realise it's a cup is usually that the compensator link is missing. Little or no effort usually is the compensator seized up
