New ClioSport 172

Ive just purchased a brand new unregistered ClioSport 172 import from Belgium, which is apparently a 2002 model that was a cancelled order.

The car, which had only done 50 miles when I bought it, is in perfect, as new condition but was lost for a year, caught up in red tape etc. I was wondering if anyone knew if a Europe wide warranty for such a vehicle would apply, and if so, what length of time would this be for.

The 2 manuals that came with the car are in French and Dutch, does anyone know where I can get an English version from? I think I would be wasting my time trying Renault UK.

Thanks

Barry

You can get a manual from your dealer for about £5. Its just the normal Clio manual.

Warranty? Ask Renault UK.

Wasnt there a thread were it was discussed that Belgium 172s were underpowered compared to other 172s from other countries? (though what is underpowered in Renaults world)

Warranty should apply but you may only get 1-2 years depending on when it was first registered.
