  e60 M5 -172- dciheid
well much to my amusement and surprise i have been offered a very very good deal on the dynamique S as a new purchase (3rd car :D )

just wondered if there was a strong contingient on here? And if they can shed any light on the build quality/ issues/ etc.

yeh my brother has one... very good.. sits very high though and the body roll makes you need to hold onto the wheel very tight as the seats are very flat for a dynamique and you feel like you will slide off on a corner... other than that its pretty good... dci would be better imo..

Even worse when its me in the passenger seat and you driving.

I've had a bit of a go at them like and the body roll is absolutly terrible tbh... imo dangerouse (spelling?) for young drivers. Not sure what the difference is on a set of coils tbh. But they feel a bit... loan car ish.... if u know what i mean (as if enterprse hire car would buy a ship load of em instead of astras....)

not decided on engine yet or indeed if defo going for it, but immense deal on the table.

choice is 1.4 16v 98 BHP
1.5 dci 86BHP
1.6 16v ?? BHP
or
1.5 dci 106BHP

the 106bhp dci is pretty much miles ahead of the other in terms of starting cost though!

think the 1.4 will be decent enough, but might push it to 1.6 terriority.

Suprised it doesnt come with a/c! its a £525 option. Though can be put in a comfort pack for £900 which gets you leccy sunroof and 6 CD changer as well

Xenons are an option as well. :approve:

hmm well to be honest the 1.5dci i drove was pretty roll central, but then i do have a 172 on springs so whats to be expected.

I might review getting a set of eibachs for it then

I'd go for the 86dci personaly for the cheap road fund plus its way cheaper than the 106 106 is quicker and nice with its 6 speed but IMO not worth it.

Its definatly not dangerous

Ah, so not actually a third wagon for your goodself then. I didn't think there would be enough hours in the day to drive 3.

some boy Chic. Hopefully it has better handling than the base 1.2 16v Clio I drove a few months back

Doesn't look bad in 'S' form tho

i have that car in the 1.4 16v 98bhp, and its the best clio ive ever bought!!
only problems ive ever had (and mine was the first car out of edinburgh) was the exhaust (which was the sport one, and they never fitted right) the spoiler (which they couldnt paint right) and the glove box (which never sat right)
the car is high as f**k so coliovers or springs are v.high on my list just as soon as they start gettin made!!
the 1.4 is fast and nippy without the petrol gulpin my 1.8was and in town drivin u dont notice that much of a difference.

(any questions pm me)

cheers for the review, iv noticed it does sit very high.

what colour is yours? im planning on pearl black.

  e60 M5 -172- dciheid
not bad that. not seen many modded dyn S's yet.

i do like the black the most, but you have an inteesting contrast there. See you went for the rear spoiler kit, i wasnt sure that was worth the cash.

how many you found mpg and performance?

i never as such went for the kit spolier kit, they fucked up on my order and instead of losin the sale offered me money of additional items, manly went for the exhaust and spolier ac etc so i didnt have to sit for hours on the phone to my insurance company tellin them every little thing i changed like my old car.

performance is ace like i said i hardly notice a difference in town and have had it at 120mph on a friends private road and it was still pullin (mind you i was goin down hill :)) mpg is ok if u just watch ur right foot :)

i fancy the climate option, but £900 is a bit steep!
xenons are £500 as well

ouch.

id hope for circa 45mpg on long runs

if u get the black "Carbon" interior, get climate control, trust me it makes all the difference. xenons werent an option for mine as it was ordered before full options packs came out, not really fussed tho.
