new exhaust & smoke???

i was out in my 182 this morning when i decided to open it up a bit on a long by-pass when i came to a stop at the junction i was shocked to see a puff of what looked like smoke from the rear of the car as i pulled away, It was up to temp & all that there is no smoke on start up & it hasn't done it since, oil level is fine the only thing is i can think of is i had a new ktr exhaust fitted the other day & i haven't really gave it any stick.

my new exhaust smoked aswell on the first few miles when hot...

not at all unusual for there to be cutting oils still on the metal from when the exhaust was made. There's also very likely condensation in the sound deadening within the boxes which will take a bit of heat to clear

Yep. Just received my exhaust in the post, quite greasey on the inside in places
