New Max Power-182 review

Ok so yeah I get Max Power....and in the new edition it has a 4 or so page on the 182! Gets good write up but they still rate the cup slightly higher. If I had a scanner I would scan it up. Only negative they had was "slightly suspect handling" and the one they drove had the cup package on it!

All in all a good review and they reckon it would be money well spent although being typical c*cks they are they have photoshopped it to look like a spaceship/twingo hybrid

Dave182 do you need to know what mods will work on the 182? 20"Chrome hoops, phat ICE install, nasty bodykit etc. Im sure Max Power used to be better back in 1998. Maybe ive got rose-tinted specs on.

Yeah max power used to be great before it sold out to the marketing bods.......or mabye im just getting older??

Just been reading a copy of Max Power from 1998, had a Escort Cab with Cossie engine and drivetrain on the cover, no real body mods and full 2 pages on the floorpan showing the drivetrain,seam welding,etc. Seems things have changed for the worse! No soft p**n either.

The changes youre seeing now are because marketing people have discovered that educated twenty-somethings generally have no disposable income due to the fact that theyre paying off student loans. This means that everything must be marketed towards teenagers or 30-somethings....which is why everything is seemingly crap if youre between 18 and 30.
See? It all makes sense now.
