hello! i recently purchest a 1.4 16v clio

i purchest it at 36500 and its now onto 37500

in the service history its got a service at 12681 and a service at 30193

will the 30193 be the main 36k or 2 year service? bering in mind the cars a 04 reg ?

in the book it says it had spart plugs air/fuel/ oil filters but it dosnt mention aux belt or oil ?

and suggestions/ help

Contact the dealer to see what was done.

it wasnt a dealer it was done at a mot station and i dont think they keep details?

in the reno book it says spark plugs air oil and fuel filter but no aux belt or oil

all garages keep records usually, only way your going to find out is by contacting them.

should the aux belt and oil ov been done if the oil filter was changed? at that service if it was the 2 year service?

Its a no for the aux belt and a big yes for the oil, id leak and bit out and check its condition

if it hasnt reached 36k by its second service then there is a good chance the plugs havent been done, as renault reccomends plugs every 36k or 4 years.

your cambelt+aux belt will be due at 72k or 2009 which ever come first.

well its second service was done at 30193 and the plugs were done

its just iv read people getting the aux belt done on at 36k service:S?

thats ok then, aux belt on a 1.4 16v is done when cambelt is changed, aux belts on cs are done at 36k

ahh right so its quite possible that the 30193 was the 2 yeah 36k service done early?

also the oil is fresh! looks like new

yes, 2nd service would have been done this year yea? so its all up 2 gether, ur next service will be at 48k or 2010, but remeber 2 get ur cambelt done next year otherwise its game over

second service was done 03/10/07 at 30193

so ur next service at 48,193 will be on the 3/10/2009, it will be a small service like the first one but drums will come of 2 be cleaned, ur gunna have 2 get ur belts done at the same time, expensive, probly about £500 all in from renault

ill wail till 48,193 or 3/10/2009? and when ever its done the belts will need doing ?
