MG Midget/182
Hi all, just picked up a Clio 182 as a daily driver, had a look for something that wouldnt break the bank on fuel but also wouldnt bore me to tears and a Clio 182 seemed to fit the bill.
Found this little car, written off due to vandalism (im guessing), not a straight panel on it, but all the glass intact ?!?!?! Anyway, a local Clio repair specialist had bought it and swapped panels with a breaker to get it looking a bit more presentable, but then changed his mind and I lucked into a bargain.
It still needs a dint in the roof and rear N/S quarter sorting, a front splitter and the paint tidying up, but it runs sweet, has had its camblet done already, just the aux to do.
I'm a trackday nut, and had been using my track car:
as a daily but its to harsh a ride for Norfolk roads, and not getting a lot of MPG, hence the Clio.
The Clio will get some fun though, I had it signed up for an autotest at Snetterton on the 12th of May before I bought it.
