I bought a new pressure washer. Karcher K2.54M Plus T50 Pressure Washer 1600w.
Excellent buy too. It comes with those attatchments and a extender one, which isnt shown.
So thought i would try it last night. Wow, how i have missed out on a PW for this long. It makes it easier with the water, and its pressure makes it easier for the front end and the wheels come up good too.
I bought the Karcher Pressure Washer Foam Lance a while back for my hose, and used an attachment and it worked fine, but today i used it with the PW. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/...151_storeId_10001_partNumber_767749_langId_-1

Made my life so much easier, created a lot of foam, covered the car nicely and was ok. May have to move up to the 1L one soon, but good enough for me right now.
Washed the car with a lambswool mit, in a 16L bucket with gritguard, with the Zymol.

I even used the PW on the paving and the monoblock and it provided good results, after the oil and gearbox oil i left from the last engine repair (cylinder head) my mum wasnt happy as it was jsut freshly cleaned. So im making up for it now.
Quite a happy bunny today and i recommend it for people who are just starting out on the whole detailing adventure. just regret not getting it before.
Can be bought for £80 - http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-9151.aspx
Also use quidco and get another 5% off and free delivery comes with it due to its over £50, or local pickup at a tesco extra store.
When i was at halfords it was 3 for 2 on the wash/wax products and as i ran out of Zymol i quickly jumped up to get some, but bought some AG wheel cleaner, tyre gel/spray and a halfords brake dust cleaner. The results for the wheels were great. I had yellowish wheels at the front and the AG helped with the cleaner brush. I actually was worried it may scratch the alloy but with a lot of pressure on it it still didnt mark the surface and it seems pretty robust. I worked it hard into the alloy as it is a funny angle right where the spokes meet the base of the allow. But the alloy is now a clean metalic silver again. So i hope to take the wheels of this weekend and properly clean it.
So what is next on the list for me now? Anything else i could need?
A 1l Snow foam lance? Any recommendations?
Waffle towel? Recommedations?
