Not had that much time to play with the n90 so far but it looks every bit as good as the w900i and im starting to like the n90 more than it now ...

I am having the w900 delivered soon and i looked at an n90 and it was just too big for me.Not slim enough is what i mean.the 900 was the limit

To be honest they are practically the same size lol, weight wise they arent much different either.

I would say get which phone suits you best as they are both great phones ! The standard 512mb in the w900 does give it a slight advantage, but you can easily buy a 1GB card for the n90 if you wanted.

Is the N90 any good then?

I'm due a renewal next month, but am a little worried the N90 twisty bit will just break off! So was thinking of going for the N70.

The n70 is a great phone too, but I dont think it looks nice (personal opinion) I havent had a chance to try out the n90 properly yet so will let you know.

I can tell you for sure that the twisty bit is very very robust and well built.. it doesnt feel like it would easily snap off.. the carl zeiss lens is fantastic though and produces some great pictures !

Will do.. had a quick muck about while I was down the pub for lunch.. its err.. got a lot of stuff heh.. takes ages to find what you want due the volume of configuration you can do on it.. which is good for someone like me but would be overly complicated for the average user that just wants to make a call.

Just got a W800 a couple of weeks ago. What spec difference is the W900? Looks very nice.
N90 looks good too, wish I had waited to upgrade!

To the best of my knowlege it had a menu overhall (less lag in menu's) can do full 30fps video and got an upgraded 2mp camera.. oh it also comes with 512mb onboard memory with an expansion slot if necessary.

Think that was it.

If your serious about gadgets and like to configure every little detail yourself the n90 is for you.. otherwise I would recommend the w900i

30fps, that's damn good! Must fill up the memory pretty quickly!

Just noticed Orange only have the N70 or W800, so probably go for the N70.

about 3-4 weeks I think. I was given the date of the 16th from when I first ordered, then the 19th and then the 25th. I didn't bother to call and check, luckily they got in touch with me Wednesday afternoon to say they had them in and they had it with me before 10am yesterday morning.

Pretty good actually, was mucking about it with it last night, did some video calls to people to see what it was like.. its quite cool actually. It deffinatly feels bulkier than the w900i but the n90 is way ahead of the w900i in terms of features. My everyday phone would deffinatly be the w900i and my business phone would be the n90.

Battery life is quite good on it so far considering I have been using all the features on it constantly. The camera is also very good and has a never ending amount of configurations that you can make.

There are some neat features like you dont have to open the flip to read a txt mesage or to answer a phone call, and an image can pop up on the coverscreen of who's calling etc. Bluetooth speeds are as good as normal so no pitfalls there either, all in all a very good phone that feels a little bit bulkier than the w900i.

Wow, didnt know there was a shortage ? Right enough they did say the w900 I got was the only one they had got in.. but I got mine the day the w900i was released in the UK.. maybe people werent aware it was comming out before that ?

Im currently in the process of re-flashing the w900i to remove all the vodaphone crap menu's that are on it.. cant believe how much they have crippled the phone... although I think the learned their lesson over restricting mp3 ringtones as its completly open to use anything on the w900i

oooooo ive got the W900i (after waiting a week ) Im not sure about the N90, its not a very pretty phone..

The one thing i noticed about the n90 was its build quality and the way it feels to use. However it is very much a niche product.

I cant stand the S60 interface either, its a mess! Uiq 2.1 still smacks it.

Uiq 3.0 should be epic.

Great video though.
