  R27 F1
After a series of over 20 German cars in the last 20 years, I've bought my first Renault. A black R27 F1. First impressions are very positive despite an obvious lack of power due to a stage 2 map being done but with a standard air filter.

Plenty plans to get more work done for several Knockhill track days....

Fair point, my post wasn't very clear!
It was mapped with the KTec induction kit on it by a previous owner but it's now got a standard one which we are hoping is why it is down on power.

They don't do much with a remap anyway. I doubt it's that. They can feel down on power if you're used to a turbo. Hammer the arse off it and you'll see how they're meant to be used

Yeah, I tried that! You're right about the turbo thing - the top end is a lot better. Rentec are onto it. The guy there agreed that it's definitely down on power, although he said it's not down by much. He said the clutch slippage won't help much either. A proper induction kit with new clutch and SMF, then maybe another re-map should get it back to where it should be.

I'm really struggling to get a decent picture of it - can't find the best angles at all!
