Newbie help. Changing wing mirrors a good idea?

Hi there,

I own a 1.2 Freeway Clio. 56 plate in red.

Thats basically my car, but 5 doors and not 3.

I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with changing their side mirrors and door handles? Mine are currently black, and I was thinking of changing them to silver to give a similar look to this:

...obviously bearing in mind I would require 4 handles.

Now I notice there are a few mirror covers and casings on ebay, but they seem to be crome, and I think that'd look tacky. I much prefer the 'silver' look in the image shown above. I don't particulay mind if they are only stick-ons, rather than full parts.

So two questions;

1) Would my entry level clio look better with silver side mirrors and silver door handles?

2) Where would I go about finding them. I have searched everywhere.

Tbh I don't think it would work on red. You would be better getting red ones instead of silver.

Also, the back of the wing mirror just pops off so you can replace the black with red/silver. Really easy

Your best bet is to find them on eBay, won't find any on here unless your prepared to wait a long time. If you get them from a dealer they will require painting

Thanks for that. yeah I like red too, but there doesn't seem to be any on ebay - apart from getting them painted for like £60 each! :O

What about the door handles? Any opinions
