newbie problem

changed the head unit standard to alpine now i can here a buzzin sound looked under the bonnet there is a red lead connected to the battery with like a cone shaped connector thinkit powered a amp can i remove it or would this be the cause clio 172

ill add when you wiggle the wire it makes other noises is this related to the car runnin like a pic off a engine bay with not owning one before
