Next Devon/Cornwall meet

After a sucessful meet yesterday I think we should get the ball rolling for the next meet.
Ideas from yesterday
Location - Dartmoor, Pub lunch then a drive across the moors?
Date, as not to conflict with devon car show and clio sport saturday how does the first weekend in August sound? Sunday 7th August.

So I need your input,
Recommendations for a good pub on the moor and also a route/end point for

The two bridges hotel/pub has a huge carpark is near enough in the middle of the moors and is a good drive accross the moors to plymouth.

so maybe meeting up somewhere off the moors for a drive to the pub?

i'll report back on the food tomorrow. as im going their for lunch.

Makes more sense to meet at the edge of the moor and drive to Twobridges for lunch.
The route from Ashburton up onto the moor is brilliant!

plan at the moment is meet up in ashburton, quick catch up ,drive up to two bridges, grab some food and take some photos

however thoes that do not fancy the drive can meet us at two bridges ect

yeah thats mainly because the area rep is currently in afghan,

its fairly hard to get meets going from 3000 odd miles away

meet up in Ashburton at the dartmoor lodge around lunch time 12:00 leave at around 12:30

hopefully get some great photos and a good bit of bannter going

remember to bring cameras and some warm clothing ( its dartmoor )

Road route is around 11 miles and will be driven at a sensible pace, however it is really worth driving it
for those that dont fancy the drive though please feel free to meet the rest of us at the hotel around 1pm

Hopefully i will see you all there as i ''May'' be back from afghan for this :clap: :drunk:ect
