What is the deal with destroying other peoples cars and being charged for it? It's been a while since I played this on xbox.

I had 10k in my bank, and these two guys were spawn raping me for ages, then I managed to destroy the car they were in and now I have no money. How are you ever supposed to make money?

They're insured, so you pay for them if you blow them up. Avoid the nobbers/put passive mode on unless you're loaded!

Banshee and Sultan can now be heavily modified at Benny's!

How are the servers for this game still so terrible? I'm lucky if I get one server that works. If I do a mission then try to rejoin it says unable to rejoin session, returning to GTA. Then it can't get a new server at all and I have to restart the game. If a modder comes in and I try to change server, it can't find a new server. So again I have to restart

It totally kills the game. I'd still play it way more often if they sorted this out and reduced the server/mission loading times

The new deluxo car is pretty fun. Haven’t tried the new heist yet, only done the first setup.

There's loads of new vehicles I want. But there's also the new facility that costs like 3mill once you spec it up. It's deciding what to spend my money on.

I'm struggling. Either can't get people to join or the game crashes while loading. It's frustrating when you spend 3+ million just to do some missions and you can't even do them.

I still play this regularly. I have noticed that it has become too much of a grind though. It takes an absolute age to try get 1 million together and that does not seem to go very far

How do you always end up in a session on your own? Hate doing resupply missions in a full lobby.

The new deluxo car is so awesome. Totally worth the money. Once you add rockets it's even better than the ruiner

Alter your MTU settings from 1500 to 820.

That's how I always get a solo lobby

I have a coke business and a cash manufacturing business on the south coast of the map near one of the ports. Right next to where a cargo bob spawns....I thought this would be easy for transporting supplies/selling ching etc as i could just hook onto the van/bikes and fly them to the other side of the map. I'm pretty sure Rockstar have thought of this and disabled the ability to connect mission vehicles onto the cargo bob, as I spent about 15 minutes trying to connect up a van and a bike, lol.

I've logged over 1000 hours on it. And that's just on PC, that doesn't include 360 play time. Even at original retail price it is an absolute bargain

I stopped playing it for about 18 months or so as it became so boring. Glad it's picked up, still can't get over how they haven't opened up the casino though?! Really can't get my head around it. They'd make a fortune from people buying shark cards.

Right, I've upgraded to an Xbox One and I'm now online too. Finding it all a bit overwhelming after the story mode, although I did get 100% completion.

Can anyone advise me...

I joined Xbox Live on Christmas Eve and expected to be pretty awesome at GTA Online having got 100% completion in story mode. Whilst I'm pretty good at races and general missions I'm hopeless and the combat games, especially close contact like Slasher. I love Slasher and I'm good at the stealth side of things, but I'm sick of getting killed when it comes to encountering the enemy. It doesn't seem to matter whether I'm attacking or hiding, chances are I'll either get shot or beat-up!

What am I doing wrong? Why am I struggling!?

I don't really play the races or combat missions so can't help much. In combat are you taking cover (can't remember what button it is)? Also in your interactive menu you can hold about 9 extra body armour that you can equip during a fight. At least you can in normal fights, dunno about combat side missions. Also if you have auto aim on I think it locks on to chest rather than head

Yeah I'm fine with ducking and hiding behind things, but when I'm attacking and I've cornered the enemy they'll come at me completely unarmed and despite my attempts to shoot them I still get my head kicked in. And when the shoes on the other foot I try to do the same and yes... I get shot!

Basically, yes lol.

It doesn't happen all the time and I'm usually one of the best of the 8 in the team, but last night in particular I was getting pissed off about getting killed so easily!

Since buying the jetpack and installing rockets etc I've become the type of player I previously hated, lol.

I've received so many messages over the past week after blowing up peoples resupply/cargo/gun running vehicles. Oh well, if I'm getting money for destroying them, I'm not exactly going to stop doing it. Plus, if anyone blows me up, it charges them $20k.

It's very handy for getting around as well if I'm doing my own re supply missions. Much quicker than any car, but not as quick as a heli.

I don't do that anymore. You get paid peanuts compared to what it costs the other guy. You could earn more just stealing random cars and selling them at Benny's lol

They stopped charging for blowing up other people's vehicles btw

I use the deloreon for attacking/trolling or supply missions. Goes anywhere and has practically infinite rockets

Had a much better time playing Slasher tonight. Kicked most people's asses and was best in the team in most events. Pretty relieved after the previous night!

I’m probably one of the most hated players on the game. If any of you want to join me in a session later, you’ll see some of my antics!

Love ghosting my organisation and going on a hunt in either a jet or my Vigalante/Batmobile.

I'm booted from 9/10 sessions I go to in the end tbh!

I've just started playing it again and getting back into it. I'm desperate for hints and tips though. Anyone care to advise?

- I keep getting my ass kicked by others in Freemode. What are the best weapons to use?

- What are the best ways of making money? I've got a business but it takes me ages to make money... I think I make more in the Adversary Modes.

- I'm saving for a special vehicle that can fly and shoot missiles... What should I buy?
