Jim's rejects
Started the car up and noticed the brake pedal was a little hard. still managed to stop me at a slow speed, but when I came to apply the brakes at the junction, we nearly went straight through it. Applied handbrake and we just stopped in time!
I've checked the fluid and its fine, went for a few runs up and down the lane and applying the brakes and they seemed to get better the more I did it. Still not 100% though.
ABS Light has been on for ages - but its just that the ABS doesn't work, which I don't care about. My old man thinks its the ABS thats at fault here, but I'm not so sure. After pumping the pedal and doing these little brake tests, the responsiveness came back and I was able to screech to a halt - clio cup style.
Master Cylinder on its way? Or just fix the ABS because my old man is right? Car had only been sat for a day and it wasn't a cold night I guess i could bleed them and see whats what?
