No sound / volume coming from my iPhone 4?

Hey gang,

I'm gonna go to the Apple store tomorrow I think, but curious if anybody has had the problem I've got.

Mate rang me earlier and I couldn't hear a thing which is obviously strange. I'm getting no sound come from the phone at all. Can't hear people, when I play music there's no sound, if I go to type a txt there's not the usual sound, etc, etc.

Very odd so thought I'd check on here just in case.

Have you checked that the volume isn't on mute?

I have the volume off but that doesn't stop me hearing people if they're calling me. And the music via ipod should still play.

I turned it off and on and it wasn't working but just now it's come back. No idea what happened there random as fook.

Good to hear that its sorted, but if it does it again remember there is an in-call volume, that may have been turned all the way down? Just press the volume buttons whilst in a call.

Also if it’s a brand new one the OE screen protector will obscure the mic at the top of the screen meaning you can hardly hear anything. I am talking from experience here!
