you do it by measuuring the rear arm to vehicle distance or rear arm to floor. according to my manual moving the torsion bar 4 splines changes vehicle height by 10mm. you meassure your distances,mark the original torsion bar position,remove the torsion bar,jack up the rear arm the amount you want to lower,move the torsion bar around from its original mark by counting the splines(eg-20mm drop means move the bar around 8 splines) and refit it. the torsion bar will only fit in properley in one position. you use the counting of the splines to find that position and to check youve lowered the correct amount and on both sides.Quote: Originally posted by Cathro_16v on 13 April 2004

had to get it put up again til i find somewhere wholl match it to the front. The one click seemed to drop it somewhere between 30-35mm maybe even more.

I thought that was a bit steep but its up to you 1.8_16v
