My car has just started making a noise each time i hit a bump, i have lowered my car but it never did it it when i got it done and the left side doesnt make a noise. Im trying to find out what is causing the noise the sound is close to metal hitting metal to what i think it is one of the pads that go at the top and bottom of the spring. Although im not entirely sure but it could be the shocks, but the car ride doesnt feel any worse than before.
Can someone give me ideas of what it could and would it be expensive to repair. Also what is the name for the spacers that stop the springs making noise.
