Non sport exhaust. 5 Door onto 3 door swap

My friend has a peco backbox fitted by powerflow, He has a 5 door non sport.
I have a 1.2 16v Non sport, of the same model.

He is returning his to standard, and I was just wondering if it would be possible to just do a straight swap of our exhausts?

I'm not too clued up on exhausts so where along the exhaust would they be detached and swapped, if its possible?

That's what I'd like to know lol.
Obviously mine is a standard stealth one for a 1.2 16v non sport, whereas his is a peco backbox, that isn't stealth, and he has a 5 door.

number of doors shouldnt have any affect on the exhaust fitment

So whereabouts would it be swapped from, is there any part you can unbolt lol, or are they welded at all joins?

your standard exhaust would need cutting

Have a look underneath at where the peco backbox joins on your friends motor, I'd guess it'll be at the sleeve joint.

That's a damn fine offer.

IME on my 1.2, you'll have to cut the standard 1.2 exhaust off, that's if it's the original, if not the join could be in the same place as it is on the other backbox, meaning you can just unblot and rebolt.

james we we last looked at your exhaust im sure that it would have been a fairly simple job when are you next free, im off to uni on saturday but come back the following week for the weekend and hopefully my springs for my ZR would have arrived lol

Drop the rear beam and slide it out.
