Norwich Union - The mutts nuts

  RB 200 Cup!
Renewal was 745 quid going up to 804 (cos now need to pay monthly) - fort i might as well get other quotes but they all cam in over a grand and couldnt touch NU on price!

anyone else really satisfied with NU?

  Citroen DS3 DSport
I also went with NU this year, they were £200 cheaper than anyone else to insure my 172.

I also got full breakdown cover for only £7 per month.

  Williams 2
Where i am a new driver the cheapest i got was £1500 full comp with 3 points and that was from NU

They said to me when my insurence runs out if i go back to them they will lower my insurence to £800 full comp:D not bad for an 18 year old i think.

Im with NUD otherwise known as Air India, very good prices, pretty good on sorting probs as well.

My dad had issues with NU after a car accident that wasn't his fault. His Megane was written off and they sent out a lower sum to what the accessor had valued the car at. Things were eventually sorted tho and this was just after their Indian call centres had been introduced so no doubt teething problems. NU also gave my dad compensation for his troubles and gave him a good renewal price.

well elephant.co.uk were 840.00 - so NU beats em again! Gonna give Adrian flux a try and then f**k it cant be bothered to try any more companies

Was going with NU but the RAC undercut them by about £50 for me. Their worth checking out if you haven't already.
Everyone else I tried wanted £1.4k+.
Payed £940, 18 1ncb.

I don't think much of NU because my dad was insured with them and since making a claim almost a year ago about a smashed window in France we've tried everything to get some money out of them and got nothing. Dad never wants to ring them up because of the f'in call centres being in India and can't get any sense out of them. He's now insured with Tesco and I don't think we will be using them again.

Also they quoted me £300 more than admiral who have given me the cheapest quote.

Sometimes it's worth going through an insurance broker with your car insurance as they will always do a full market exercise and find the cheapest and best cover for you. Also, when it comes to a claim they have to fight it on your behalf so you don't have to ring call centres in different countries and usually just speak to one person dedicated to your claim.

NUD have always been stupidly expesnive for me, easily twice everyone else.

try Priviledge, lots of people (including me) have had decent quotes from them recently.

  LY V6 with Recaros
Yeah, I've just had a cheap quote from Privilage, far cheaper than anyone else I've tried so far.

I was with Norwich Union for years , never claimed but policy got dearer instead of cheaper. Thats the way it is now, you get no reward for loyalty.

Am with brokers Adrian Flux now, they are good if you have mods.

My insurance policy has never got cheaper with the same insurer, hence I change company every year. I've been with Renault, DirectLine, Admiral, Elephant, Priviledge.

Just tried an online quote with norwich union, they said I need to call up. Does that mean it's going to be stupidly expensive?

  LY V6 with Recaros
That's what I thought. I think I'll just stick with the quote I got from Privilege, somehow I don't think anyone will beat it!

  Inferno 182
Privilege were the first company I tried as thats who I was with when I had a scoob. Ive managed to get my 182 to £450 now which Im struggling to beat.
