nurburgring lap. speeded up?

Car  '10 Clio200
Hi fellas!

I've finally been at the ring this year with my trackday/shopping cart 206 (wasn't sure about the clio making it to Germany :p).
I recorded some footage and was kind of proud of my second lap ever. So I did this video together with RaceChrono's .csv file.

But then this guy showed up commenting that I had speeded up the recording to make the lap look faster, claiming that my hands move too fast and gear changes happen too quickly.

GoPro recording BTG is 9min13s, same as RaceChrono session recorded that day, which you can find here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BycmY12lmpmXSUVkclpwcVJMR0E/edit?usp=sharing

What do you reckon? I swear the video is real. Let's discuss!

Doesn't look sped up to me. Tidy driving for first time fair play. My advice would be to lean to heel and toe though as you could get caught out in the future depending on what car your in.

not much to discuss i think... but no .. i don't think its sped up .

The clock itself is accurate. I think the recording is at a high frame rate per second making it quite sharp.

Your gear changes are not super human.. its possible to change quicker than you can in this vid.

Your gear changes look pretty average to me. I change that fast when driving to the shop :approve:

Lol at all the next budding formula 1 drivers in here

For advising him on how to avoid breaking his car? Jog on.

That said, I was a bit put off by the fact the OP was swearing at an MX5 for daring to not be on a hotlap on a TF day, and held him up for all of a few seconds.

I was doing heel and toe the whole time! maybe not perfectly, but it was there

Couldn't be doing with loose items in the dash sliding about in the corners.

I reckon that's some nice driving though, imagine what you could achieve in the clio ;)

What by everyone telling him that people can shift faster? Surely he's more likely to break his car by shifting faster and more aggressively.....
