E92 M3,172 track car
The car was diagnosed with an open circuit to the off side rear ABS sensor.
Rather than trace for a split, I thought I'd just replace the sensor.
I ordered one from GSF on eBay which their advert said would fit which it didn't, they then sent me the part number for the correct item which I ordered from my trusty motor factors. This also looks wrong.
When looking at the sensor on the car it seems to have a rectangular tip that sits above the ABS ring and I assume has the sensor on the lower edge to read the ABS signals.
The new sensos both have a barrel like tip with the sensor in the end which would appear to point towards the back of the hub when fitted.
Are these Renault only items?
