Oh Bollox!

Typical!

My third day of driving my car after spending a nice wad of cash on getting all the bodywork absolutely mint and I go scratch it!

Im so pissed off I cant believe it. I was just getting home tonight, reversing into my drive as Ive done a million times before, its a bit tight but Im used to it, and just manage to ever so slightly scrape the rear n/s wing on the wall.

I now have a nice 12 inch long scratch instead of two week old paint!

Thats a nice few quid down the drain!

Thats a pity after getting it painted Tom. Will the scratches polish out?

Why dont you drive in and reverse out, especially in the dark?

I was thinking that. Itd been booked into the bodyshop two months ago and Ive not done anything like this in the last 9 months of having the car....or my last two!

Its not a huge scratch, but it has taken all the paint off, so it will need a part panel respray. Hopefully shouldnt cost me too much.

GR - Its easier to reverse in my drive and drive out, plus being dark has never been a problem. Damn Sods Law!

sods law is a bugger!! i had butter fingers with my keys once, tried catching them and accidentally keyed my door!! only bout an inch though, but still annoying all the same!

ouch!! bad luck!! dont you just hate sods law ?.......my sister scratched her 3 week old saxo...whats worse is shes never put a mark on a car before and it HAD to be the new one!!

I think this happens from being to careful.....scratched my bumper when I first got my clio from being far to careful (again, first time!)...all sorted now :)

Interesting to see you blokes put it down to sods law when its a fellow male...;)

im sorry but thats a typical female reaction !!!! (runs & hides behind BenR)

youll be lucky if its gonna be cheap...if its metalic....then you gotta have most of the quater panel done again...then re-laquered !!

blimey......you dont do things by half do yer !!!!.......nice grand canyon there !!

It was a rough wall so just different bits scraped on it

I know I will be able to get it cheap, the bloke who did it is a mate, and I got everything done in the first place for a very reasonable price.
