Oil Leak, Cam Seals

  Trophy Turbo :)
I feel like a right bloody nugget asking this question but im fed up.

Replaced the Head on the car at the weekend due to a inlet sucking the in a stone.

I replaced head and replaced all seals... in te kit i had variosu gaskets and oil seals.

2 x Oil Seals with a smaller internal Diamitor
2 x Oil Seals with a larger internal Diamitor

Now why do i get four? When i surly only need two, for the end of the cams.... and can any one tell me if the one that has the bigger internal diamitor goes on the side with the Dephasor pully? and does the seal get pushed right backor does it stagger at the front slighly?

Help would be appreciated as ive took it to bits three times now and still have a leek, i think, unles sit from the previosu time

What car?

Assuming a 1*2 I guess the kit covers other models too i.e. ones without VVT?

IIRC smaller diameter one for exhaust cam and larger for inlet cam. The inlet cam one doesn't seal around the cam but around the VVT/dephaser pulley when you put it on. Think I only pushed it in far enough to make sure it wouldn't foul the pulley.
