Oil Temp Gauge Fitting



  BMW M135i
Fancy an oil temp gauge so I know when the engines warmed up properly so it can have a good lump of cane. Obviously the K4M doesn't have an oil temp sender so i'm going to have to fit one somewhere.

Looking at whats avaliable on demon tweeks theres a couple of options, one is t-pieceing off the oil pressure switch and mounting the sender there i'm likeing this one the best atm. The other seems to be a sump plug with and threaded hole in it so you can mount the sender for the sump temp, although a good idea it just seems rather exposed to me?

Anyone fitted one? or know of any complications that could occur ?

Ones ive fitted to a vauxhall go onto the oil pump but never done a Renault so unsure.....
