Omfg Swapped My 1.2 Insurance To 172 Conversion

reet i've had my 172 conversion in since last year and hadnt updated my insurance from the 1.2 getting qoutes over 2000 still at current with MOT coming up i thought its time to face the music and stop the risk even though i only do little mileage, i phone up tell them currently paying 1012 on the 1.2 with kit wheels suspension and everything sh*tting myself as i'm on hold, ok mr thompson your new premium is 1200! i passed i just added an extra 120bhp for 200 squidles i'm proper chuffed now eeeyyy and my new tattoo machine has came its lush cant wait to test it out down at the studio

well its not like i use the car for miles and miles my work is less then 60 seconds away thing is theres loads of polish poople driving round with crap all so atleast i had sum sort of insurance even if it was void atleast i'm upto speed now
i'm 21 with one years ncb and pass plus it has a cat 1 alarm on and its garage and 8000 miles per annum should really take it down to 6000 for how little it gets used normally just sunday back road trips that clock miles up, i may ring up and see how much the turbo will inflict my insurance

i do sometimes depends on what shift i'm on once i'm working at the tattoo studio full time though i'll have to use the car every day as it'll be like like an hours walk and i get enough fitness as i play my drums and i paintball

and in reply to kiev yea you pay your insurance i pay mine to i was paying 1600 on a mk1 1.2 rn clio worth 100 quid but i wont pay over 2k hence me waiting till now to put 2 litre on the bill

nah i just checked an insurance on young sport owners thread and it doesnt seem dodgy for my age i have no points one years ncb and a very low annual mileage and a 500 squid excess i'll just see how it goes its gotta be done anyways unless i wont get the car through its MOT so meh

And mines a factory car, not a self built hybrid, with only mod being exhaust...

it hasnt been self built its been done by a garage with all receipts kept, plus how old are you? do you have ur pass plus? or max driver? how many miles is your policy? mines 6000 now half of average and i have a 500 quid excess plus i live in a really good estate now total population of about 25 people and its garaged so it isnt exactly extrodinary plus my previous renewal was 1400 i just haggled them down because AnA qouted me cheaped,
