It's stable but still RC, no winterboard though.

My Incipio Feather in white arrived today from amazon. couldn't believe it, ordered 3am sunday morning, arrived today!! excellent case though. ill still keep my SwitchEasy Rebel for mucky garage jobs etc.

Random question, is it possible to copy DVDs onto it?

Would i need a program to do it? Or does it come with the software?

You will need to convert to mp4 using a 3rd party program.

For anyone who wants to do this add a source to david.ashman.com/apt/ and install Lockscreen Clock Hide.

3GS now unlocked with Freezer/Cydia installed, using Purplerain... very quick and easy, 1 click and 2 minutes.

Is anyone elses 3GS battery life pretty poor? This is my first iphone so i don't know what i should of been expecting, but today, i got 3 hours 30 minutes of use out of it before the battery died. The use was a bit of internet browsing (not 3g), a few txts, bit of msn and played some games for quite a while.

I've got all location services, wifi, 3g internet turned off and i had it set at the lowest possible screen brightness for most of the use mentioned above.

Anyone had issues with setting up there Iphones with an exchange?

Won't accept the password, using the correct password (OWA works fine etc) Not using SSL. Various different accounts - any clue?

Mines working fine with google exchange, what exactly is the problem?

It'll take several full charge cycles to be at it's optimum. Best ways of increasing battery life are:

-Turn down screen brightness, makes a huge difference.
-Turn off Bluetooth/Wireless unless you need them.
-Turn down email fetch frequency.
-Turn off 3G if you're not in a 3G area, stops it searching.

I decided to run the JB tonight and all went ok despite downgrading from 3.1

CyDelete appeared to slow the menu speeds of the 3GS down to the speed of the 3G, removing that has improved things.

When i got those results i had screen brightness on the lowest possible setting, wifi off, email fetch frequency is set to manual and 3g is always off i never turn it on lol.

Its had alot of charge cycles i got it on release date

I ended up restoring mine, tried to install SBsettings, and Lock Calendar and it was just crashing my springboard, so fked it off. Problem is a lot of the apps still aren't 3.0 friendly, let alone 3GS friendly... though it could be me being special.

Question:
I uploaded some video to Youtube tonight, and it's got massive borders down it, whichever way the phones turned, is there no way to resize the resolution to fill the player?

Have a new Iphone 3GS, 32 gig.. having problems with the screen flicking, like lines down the screen not always noticeable but sometimes it is? never had this problem with my old Iphone.. Anyone know if its a common fault or am I just being stupid and seeing somehting that isnt there?

The problem is when you go to mail, it tries to sync but prompts for the password and it wont accept it.

Tried with the username and with domain\username. Password is 100% correct

I restored my 3GS back to 3.1 soon after installing the JB. It seemed quite good but I have no real need to run the handset like that and everything was marginally slower than with standard OS.

I had a similar sounding problem with 3G. I booked a genius bar appointment at the Apple Store and they replaced it under warranty.

A friend of mine just text me, saying he's bought a 3gs 32gig, having said all the way back from Kent on sunday that he only wanted a Nokia that calls people and texts them, and that anything else was totally un-necessary.

When you turn the phone on, 02 will text you with your username and password
