Waiting for what?

3.0.1 "fixes" something that is so unlikely its not true.
And according to the some of the Devs it doesn't actually fix it at all. Hence why i didn't bother moving to it.

Jailbreaking 3.1 is looking increasingly unlikely. But you never know.

OK, I will just leave it as it comes in that case and live with 3.0, until I get the 3Gs next year.

My 3GS on 3.0 sometimes freezes when waking it up. The slider will freeze for maybe three or four seconds before actually working. Happens probably once a week.

Yup ive had that, the bottom half of the screen just seems to lock up.

I reset mine daily.

Apple/O2 have anything to say about the freezing problems guys? Is there an app for a soft reset scheduler? Like on the Storm mine is set to do it every day at 4am.

Nah, its barely a problem. Just like anything, needs to be power cycled.

Guess he was referring to me being the Fuckwit, I have a iPhone 3gs which came with 3.0.1 and Ive manahed to jailbeak it fine. You sound like a bit of a prick tbh mate. Don't bother asking for help if your going to be a tit about it.

my mate is in hong kong till 2morow night and said he will buy me some stuff to bring back if i want. Im thinking there must be some iphone stuff worth getting, but he hasnt got much space so only small things really!

Right, i have followed many tutorials, both written and youtube video's about getting ringtones (or rather converting songs on iTunes to ringtones) and each time i have the same problem.

Once i've created my ringtone and moved it to the desktop, i get to the point where i have to rename the file type, except it doesn't have the .m4a file extension like every tutorial says it does, it only has the name of the song.

Anyone know whats going wrong? using iTunes v 8.2.1.6

Corrr blimey. Thank god I don't jailbreak mine. Seems too much f**k arsing about. I tried the jailbreak a few weeks ago. Didn't see any benefit -> back to a nice stable working standard. Ithankya.
