Opinions on AP coilovers

Looking at buying AP coilovers for my mk3 around christmas time and was wondering what the ride was like on them? Ive heard coilovers are meant to be pretty crashy for general road use, and seeing as i do a fair few miles i dont want it to be rediculously crashy. Obviously its gonna be harder than the standard spongy crap thats on their now. Any opinions?

I have absolutely no idea what they are like on the clio, but on my R32 they are very similar to OEM ride quality.

Lol they look basically the same. Yeah hears that for the budget range they are good quality. Go low enough for me as well

Really nice bit of kit this. Have been using these with solid top mounts. The ride is actually is actually allot better then the racelands i had with normal rubber topmounts.
Please keep in mind that these are not realy suited for trackdays as they are pretty soft compared to others out there.
For the back you won't be needing the adjusters as these springs are rather long, by them selves.

I've got these on my MK3 Phase 2 and they are fantastic, ride quality really isn't much different from standard but handling is immensely improved. When I had my alignment set up by a local specialist (Progrip) the chap said he was very impressed by the quality of them for the price.

Great for a bit of fast road use (so long as you don't wind them ALL the way down like mine.)

Mine are in need of a refurb I think. Going to get them off at some point and double check them.

When they were higher you couldn't really tell the difference between standard and the coilovers, but when you started to push on you could tell they were much better.
