Well, this weekend should have been the Gold Cup Classic at Oulton Park, with various old cars on there. Some unique eye-candy there, but totally outclassed by the rally cars - absolute motoring p**n, imo....

Finally, my first glimpse of the new Scooby RB320 up close. Truly gorgeous.... from the side and the rear anyway. The front is a bit 'erm, yikes :S '

All in all, a great day. Even if we didn't turn up until gone 12. I did take a few shots of the old timers on track, but I think you can tell where the focus of my attention was. I think I need to get myself off to a proper rally stage at some point!

Absoloutley Gorge.

Really am gutted that I couldnt go, but Leonie is too near the pop to leave her on her own.

BTW did you run into (or narrowly avoid) my Dad by any chance, I'm sure he would have had a ganders at the rally stage, and the Twink's.

F40 looked convincing to me, don't think it's that often copied, all the Fezzer replica's are usually 355's and the like, based on MR2's and Fiero's.

Any pics of the GT40 (which probably is a replica) next to it?

I'm not 100% sure he went, although if he did it would be with his mate who used to dabble in all that 750 club 1300 sports specials and the like.

Dad was like "It's ok if you can't come Ste, If you bring the car round nice and early and I'll drop you back off at home..." PMSL not.

(Very) Unlikely that he'd be there with Les.... They're not the best of friends...
