own made solid top mounts

had these done few days ago.
feels great!

they are not copy of a "mark fish - model". just same kind fixing...
also these drop the coilover a little bit -> more live to small spring...

Surely top mounts are top mounts??? As in they have to be similar shape etc for a MK2 Clio?
 
BenP's Group Buy Mounts were very different to the Mark Fish Versions
 
wont this snap the strut when turning the wheel ??? or do you not intend turning the wheel ??? have you seen strut tops when the wheels are at full lock ? the rubber allows movement to stop stress on the strut.....your mental
 
7mat: yeah.. but they are own made with own measures.

big_peaches: there is good quality joint-bearing inside the body.. and titanium-collets both sides of bearing... full lock works perfect. planning is half job :)
 
on my h&r's the smaller thinner spring is on the bottom where on yours its on the too, which way are they supposed to be?
 
why don't you just get rid of the helper springs then you can go as low as possible without any hassle good work though
