P.A.S Fluid Boiled up

Car  172 cup & 106 rallye 16v
Right, I went to donnington yesterday on track and after a while noticed my steering started to tighten up occasionaly. On inspection noticed that p.a.s fluid was all over the engine bay and looked to be coming out the top of the resevouir, any ideas what would cause this?
BTW Had a wicked time on track and also saw two ph1 silver clios stripped out!

It will boil if you are constantly going lock to lock flat out, doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong.

A technician at work accidentaly put a splash of water in it before realising it wasnt the s/wash bottle, but it was about 1mm of water if that. Could the system be flushed out and renewed with fluid?
