Painting Calipers - How Long....?

does Hamerite take to dry.

ie, if i pop down halfords now and purchase a pot, can i have them all done in a day using the standard 172 cheap and nasty jack in the boot?

and how long before its drivable?

Should be alright. It'll say how long for the paint to dry on the tin.
I'd also consider getting a better jack. Only 15-20 quid.

Needs to left 12 - 24 hours in most cases.

i did my calippers on my old car left it over night seemed to do the trick

and sorry, escuse my numptyness, should i be looking to give them a rub down with sand paper or something before i paint? or just give em a good scrub with a steel brush

i will do - although its gonna have to wait as the sun has suddenly gone and been replaced with what looks like certain heavy rain.
