tbh I'm not sure you'd even be effected by the frame rate.

The only thing that will be able to highlight it is if you had a PC running it at 60 and a console sitting next to it running at 30, playing through the same levels etc so you can spot the differece. Nothing to be too upset about in my mind, especilaly as BFBC2 is 30 and thats fine.

I think medic and assault have been combined or something.

Was on one of the bigger review vids.

Recon is still recon, Engineer is still engineer. Medic gear is now held by the assault class, and Support gets ammo packs.


Imo, the way it should always of been in BC2.

At a guess judging by bc2 it'll be 4 per squad, and 4 squads per "team"

Sounds like someone hasn't played games at 120fps, 1980x1080 or higher with 16xAA etc

Completley differnt price too! Plus 120fps is irrelevant for BF3.

I wouldn't call it irrelevant. Look at BFBC2 on the PS3, it played like horse s**t compared to the PC!

before this goes wildly off topic with g33k talk and numbers/stats/specs and all that business that makes bugger all sense to your average joe all I'm gonna say is...

If the person playing on the so called "inferior" format is more than happy with it's "inferioity" and frankly doesn't care about "pc specs" etc then who cares?

If it was such a massive issue then they would only make the game for PC as no-one would buy it on a "consLOL" as it'll be crap.

It's gonna be an awesome game regardless of format.

Agreed mate. I know PCs have higher resolutions, but I don't care. All I care about is how it plays and I am confident it will be great on all formats.

Like the sound of the vehicles/tanks grinding to a halt but still functioning until there finished off!

No mate. There's a petition to try and get them to increase to 32, but I doubt it will happen.

when i was on BF2142 there was 16,28 and 32 iirc. 28 was spot on for me like

Think they could have 32 players on the larger maps with the jets/heli's on and maybe stick to 24 on the smaller maps.. good to hear about the small change's in the classes too with assault having medic pack. And VERY glad that the defrib takes longer to operate now as this will get rid of the invincible 2 medic warhorse squads you see on BFBC2.

I miss the old simple Battlefield 2 classes lol. With them you had to adapt the way you played the game massively between classes.

I played Conquest on Core the other day (2 things I never play) and no word of a lie, 6 medics were huddled at one point absolutely taking names. I charged them numerous times, got 2 or 3 of them, then got swiftly sat the f**k down, only to see the ones id just killed get revived. Rediculous.

Confirmed so far are Rush, Conquest and Coop. They have hinted at atleast one new game mode. Id say its safe to assume that most of the other game modes from BC2 will be present as well.
