Mine is quiet but it's a slimline and only a few months old. Alot faster at downloading than the first style ps3's. Sony will probs exchange it for a 40gb 1 cos my mate did it a month ago.

It auto spots enemies @ 75m or less. But it definitely works, if a bit pointless at times. TBH, I've found it helpful, as it's assisted me with points a fair few times.

Saw that yesterday. It's a scathing review, TBH. But reading the comments is brilliant. The first page seem to agree with him, but then from 2 page onwards, people click that it's basically a multiplayer game with a single player element bundled in. Ben has not mentioned this and has just gone on with his usual "witty" slating of the single player game.

Battlefield has always been about multiplayer. I'm glad that the comments picked up on this and made a point of it.

Definitely, even in multiplayer. But it's a warzone, at the end of the day. I'm sure there's dust and debris all over the place. No complaints, certainly on the Atacama Desert map (or whatever it's called). He says it's too realistic. Crazy.

Its the haze i don't get. You can see to the other side of the map fine. Look through a scope and you can't see anything!

It's meant to be realistic, when grenade goes off, the smoke/dust is madness!

Theres nothing more satisfying though then sniping someone who has been hidden by smoke/dust.

Me and Kev were playing yesterday and I stashed up in the lighthouse on a level..did some good raping from there, as the attackers moved down from the lighthouse to the next but, I was effectively behind them...must of took out about 10 or so people before I forgot to watch my back and one of the snipers came and knifed me

We had one guy on our team yesterday who just HID the whole f**king time miles away from the MCOM stations f**king dick, me and Kev were pushing to destroy and this tit is trying to snipe from half the map away. Tit

That dust does get on my tits, mainly the snow drifts and some times they appear inside the buildings too but it just makes things a little more challenging

I'd say for realism, it's better added than just left out completely. At least it gives the sense of difficulty and being there.

Yeah I love the difficulty aspect.

Even when I first started a talent of mine seems to be long shots without a sniper rifle. Or a scope.

Get them in the sights and use short bursts of fire to slow recoil.

Satisfaction of taking someone out 100 yards away with iron sights!
