PC's Died!! Help!! :(

Right, all was fine and dandy last night, cracked it on this morning and I just get a blank black screen.

Tries to boot up but after the option for BIOS page it just goes blank and wont do anything!!

I can get into BIOS but I have no idea what im doing, so some help would be great!

Its a Packard Bell about 2years old and running XP!

Please speak slowly and clearly as I dont have a clue what im doing! lol

have you got the boot disk? you can get it to boot form that in bios.

packard bell i had the same about 9months ago, i got told to buy a new Ram, and the fewkin thing worked,.. try and borrow 1 from some1 first,

Okay, took one of my sticks of ram out and now its booting up!

Looks like one of them was fucked!! :S

told ya im a pc wizz kid lamo, na jk, if u had just put 2 in the pc wont load cz the 2nd is basicly rubbish and wont accept anything, so only stick with 1 with Packard bells.

I went and bought another one, so im back to 2 sticks. Will see how that goes. It runs dead slow otherwise as it was my 512 stick that died, the other one is tiny!
