Just a few pic's of my little 172, i was a bit lost for direction so headed down to CSS and what a turn out!
I see alot of nice cars with so many different mod's....... up till now i've only stripped the interior out of her and fitted spax lowering springs (30mm Drop). My minds made up and i'm gonna follow through with the track look. Any ideas of what i should be doing next?? i'm pretty keen to get all the mounts changed to poly bushes and get some struts on there.

I dont wanna touch the look of the car, just gonna tidy the body work up abit so i can enjoy polishing it without seeing all those stone chips !! I wanted to make it quicker and with funds abit low i thought ive got to shead some weight, so everything from the front seats back went, except the spare wheel..... thats staying! The car now weights 1100kg. Should lose abit more when the front seats get ditched for a couple of racing seats and harnesses.

I ditched spare wheel etc but still have all my seats in, after cup seats now to go that bit lighter and aircon removal. U will struggle to get big power out of it without deep pockets. Mine has cams, matched inlets, 182 mani, remap etc etc but it wasnt all cheap. Goes well now though and i would never moan on the cost as i enjoy it. Looks tidy as it is and ace on the f1 wheels, makes me wish id kept my f1s for track, oh well ay.

How much weight have you lost then?

i've lost just over 60 kg which is just under 10 stone roughtly.
still got the rear wiper and motor to remove and the a/c......then maybe try and hunt down a ally bonnet.
The silver tech's and white side repeaters are on the way!

60kg :0 thats loads lol, i have a ally bonnet, there ace and bloody light lol. Keep up the good work buddy

I live right near lakeside so i was at Thurrock Services then on to South Mimms mate.
