PH1 172 Alarm Ultrasonics

  PH1 172 Sport
Was just cable tying a wiring loom up under the glove box when i notcied a neatly wrapped wire with a connector on the end of it (not connected to anything).

It took a matter of minutes to trace it back to the ultrasonic sensor thats on the A-pillar which explains why I have never been able to get the alarm to go off when i'm inside the car and its locked. I can only assume the one on the drivers side has never been connected either. Where should these sensor's plug in?

Thanks

The alarm should be under the passenger side airbag or under the scuttle panel.

Does your car even have a working alarm it could have been removed thats all.

The alarm led flashes and if i lock the car with the door open a long never ending beep comes from the car like a fire alarm. So I assume the alarm is connected.

Have just tried opening the bonnet when the car is locked and an alarm does go off. Is there much pouint in reconnecting the ultrasonics as I think they might cause more trouble than they are worth.
