I never understand the comments regarding the interior of the Phase 1.

Who honestly bought a Phase 1 for the seats and dash board?

The same people that buy it to tow caravans! Makes no sense!

Yeah, but it's what you see inside the car though isn't it?? (ok so you don't really look at it while driving) Plus it's hard to get seats etc to match the colour.
If my car wasn't what it is, i'd have swapped for a phase 2 interior.

My old Ph1 172 was a better drivers car than my 182. I miss the responsive feeling and feedback the car gave me. It was such a fun little car. IMO Renault concentrated too much on comfort on the later versions.

And i'm not biased, as I now own a 182... and if they made an 05 plate ph1 172 I would be back in one tomorrow!
