The black of the wheels and side strips with the yellow looks the doggy's doo daas, but I think a black roof (even CF) will be overkill.

Can work, and can work well. I would try and get some good photoshops done though first. Also wouldn't be against using vynal as come selling time, if ever, with a marmite mod like that the vynal can be removed.

A guy i used to live near had a yellow new shape vw beatle and had his roof done. looked much better. Altho if i had a yellow beatle id paint the whole thing tbh
