ph1 172 rear bumper...

Im saving up for a ph1 172. Something keeps bugging me about the rear bumper on them. The car as a whole looks nice and aggressive and i prefer them to the facelift 172.

But since they came out ive never been too sure about this rear bumper. It just looks a bit too cute for such a great looking car. I prefer the facelift rear bumper... i think...

Has anybody changed the rear bumper on a ph1?

Cliochris1 has a ph1 with a ph2 RS bumper.

I personally think it finishes off the ph1 quite nicely. that rear bumper is mean looking also.

That ph2 bumper does look better on the black car.

Im quite sure once i have the car i'll never be arsed to swap/paint the bumper anyway

I dont think there is any color on a ph1 that would look shite with a ph2 rs rear bumper... i think they'll look sweet.

any colour really, im hoping to buy one with blown gearbox or engine and replace it myself so i should save some money, but this means its pot luck what i end up with. no doubt it will be silver...

not too fussed to be honest, although i would pay a little more for another colour

I will be swopping the PH1 for a PH2 bumper as soon as i can find one cheap and i can be arsed, agree with you its abit limp in comparison to the rest of the car!

The standard bumper seems to look a lot better if the car is quite low.
