Engine bag taking shape. Got the radiator mounted up. Some fettling of the samco hoses will be required as the cup racer lower mount gets in the way [emoji51]

Interior also taking shape but I really need to spend an hour tarting up that steering column. Makes me sick everytime I see it [emoji23]

Upper engine mount tidied up a bit as well. As it’s now just a timing belt guard

More progress. Got a misfire that’s doing my nut in.
Changed the coil pack yesterday and all was well but it’s back to missing today. Hopefully something daft like an earth.

Also spent a bit of time on the other Clio getting it polished. It’ll 100% be on the road this summer. It’s just needing a bit of paint on the side skirts and back bumper. Oh and the Sachs rebuilt

Totally unrelated to the exclusive. But it’s looking well so someone might enjoy it, ha!

Well well well. It's been a minute and things have been progressing.

The misfire from before was just an extremely rich fuel mixture.
John was round helping again last week and we trimmed 10% off of the fuel table and it's been running well.

The loom is almost entirely finished. We just need to focus on getting a shakedown done after mapping then I can think about loom tape or whatever.

I removed the steering column and painted it the same colour as the handbrake. I was never going to get a good match on the interior. So figured a nice satin silver that tied in with the handbrake would work.

I had to make a bracket (have a bracket made) for the canbus keypad. Just the inserts to order for the buttons now.

Sadev is working after the clutch change which is handy.

Catch can fitted, engine bay cleaned a bit, another new heated windscreen fitted after cracking the first one. Many swear words were said.

Anyway. I think it's looking somewhat okay now.

Hi All, a rather abrupt update.

But the car was out for another trackday a few weeks ago.

New discs and pads fitted
Oil change in the gearbox was all that was done/needed.

And on that note. I'm out.
The car is going to be getting broken for parts.

Posting here just now before I sort out a breaking list but big ticket items will be:

Full sadev sequential setup
Asts
Pure motor sport throttle body setup
Custom minimalist loom with ECU, bulkhead connectors, full setup with ECU (no red light of doom with this) flatshift enabled, wireless steering wheel buttons etc,
Pure Motorsport exhaust/manifold (can be split)
2 sets of OZ superlegerra wheels
1 with rain sports
1 with Yoko AO52
