PH2 FF 172 - Problem with Climate Control/Heater

In normal heater mode, i.e non air con, if I move the temperature up on the digital readout, it stays cold until I get to "Maxi" where it is then as warm as always, flick it back to 26* and it goes cold again straight away...

I am hoping as there is heat from it, that it is something not too expensive....

Anyone had this or can offer some assistance, anything would be gratefully appreciated...

I think i'm having the reverse of this, sometimes when i go from cold to warm it doesnt get cold again at all.....i dont know what is doing it, but its not always like it??
