phase 1 172 induction kit

has anyone got a picture of the engine bay with a pipercross induction kit fitted just wondering as im having a debate with my friend. he seems to think the inductuion kit from a 1.2 is exactly the same and will fit on to the 2.0l 172 i cant see this being possible does anyone know if this is true or false?

Most have the same sized I.D so you just have to use a reducer to fit it properly. However the 1.2 16v pre 2004 needed an adapter plate to fit it which could only be bought in a kit.
