Phase 2 front end on a phase 1.

Hi,

What is actually required to change the front end of a phase 1 to phase 2 bodywork? Ive used the search function but there is no thread that actually gives you a black and white answer.

I know the obvious things like different bonnet, bumper, wings, lights, grill, archliners etc. but what needs changing underneath?

They have somewhere indeed, good luck finding it though, it was around 8 months ago or so I believe?

Why would you want to do this, more to the point?

look for the "clio TT" that had a ph2 front end, quite a bit of money to do, I dont see the point, but each to there own mate hope it turns out well!

By slam pannel do you mean the detachable part? or the parts that hold the headlights?

The reason im thinking of doing this is i want to build myself a proper shell with a weld in cage then rebuild the rally car into eventually. I can get a 3 door phase 1 for about £500 over here but a phase 2 is 3 times the price. And been as i already have all the phase 2 parts on the current rally car shell ill be saving a £1000 that could be put towards a cage.
