Phase II bump strips

In need of some of these as i sorta broke my phase Is when pulling, no ripping them off!!!

& seeing as most scrappys around here wont let you take them without the door, i will most probably have to purchase them from renault (gulp!)

Does anyone know roughly offhand how much these are new direct from renault? Along with 16v badges too?

Well I paid £58 (yeah Im a mug) for a Phase 2 style grille, and thats just one piece of plastic and 2 wee clips.

Gives you an idea...

Suppose ill have to go & get some otherwise it wont look right!

Jesus christ i just thought, im after loads of clips too, and stuff like the window rubber surrounds, new header tank cap, a new lecky window switch.

God help me if i cant find some things in the scrappy!!!

I did originally think of that, but im keeping the bodywork of the car standard except for a half bad boy bonnet, smooth boot, everything colour coded, smoked windows & 17s.

In my opinion it wouldnt look right at all. Plus a lot of work for me to do! Wouldnt fancy shutting the door & have half of it crack!

Ill be shi**ing my self when i get them coz ive heard some lad in a clio round here is looking for some! If he dare touch them....

you havent heard the best bit yet.......if the clips behind the bump stips break !....you CANT buy them !!! you have to buy the WHOLE bump strip !! (thats what i was told by fish bros renault anyway)

Wouldnt matter anyway coz i need to buy all the bump strips. They need to be new really coz want the car perfect when it comes out. Even getting new rubber seals for the doors & boot! Im sure ive got OCD sometimes!

i payed about £38 for the rear bump strip and £28 for the door strip , how do they work out the smaller one is more expensive !!?? Thats renault for ya.

I think i will have some ph2 bump strips mate!! dont think i have a full set thou but am certain i have 2 spare rear ones and may have 1 door one!!

They came off of a 95 Willy!!

I ALWAYS avoid parking next to other Clios ESPECIALLY if they have trim missing - I had one of the back parts nicked the DAY! I got the car - but the trouble is its the lower spec Clio owners who nick em, then find out they dont fit!

All Clios should come with a spare set

A full set of brand new mk1 172 bump trims are £100 from st andrews renault. however you might try a renault breakers, i tried http://www.cliospares.co.ukwww.cliospares.co.uk they were helpful and seemed to have a lot to spares
